Translation of Markowski’s “Anatomy of Curiosity” by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences
The Hungarian Academy of the Arts (Magyar Művészeti Akadémia) has recently published a translation of Stefan and Lucy Hejna Family Chair in Polish Language and Literature, Michał Markowski's Anatomia ciekawości (The Anatomy of Curiosity). The 1999 collection of essays won the 2000 Kościelski Award and was translated into Hungarian by István Szathmáry.
This translation appears as part of a series in which Prof. Markowski joins the company of Iris Murdoch, Martha Nussbaum, Roger Scruton, and Jean-Luc Nancy among others.
