Anna Szawara appointed as a Teaching Scholar
Anna Szawara, Lecturer in the Department of Slavic and Baltic Languages and Literatures, has been appointed as a Teaching Scholar for UIC's Center for the Advancement of Teaching-Learning Communities. She will be part of Robert Ryder's team and will be working on a technology project related to gaming theory and using gamification strategies in the foreign language classroom. She hopes to develop a video game platform that combines cultural and language learning for the blended Polish classroom.
