Russian minor Mona Zubi awarded Critical Language Scholarship
Mona Zubi, a 2021 graduate in public policy and minor in Russian, has been awarded the U.S. Department of State’s Critical Language Scholarship to participate in intensive foreign language programs this summer. This competitive award is given to just 700 students across the U.S.
Mona is studying Russian through a virtual program based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan with hopes of eventually working in Central Asia in education and post-colonial development.
