Michał Paweł Markowski nominated for the Central Europe Literary Award
Michał Paweł Markowski has been nominated to the Central Europe Literary Award "Angelus", for his latest book Day on Earth. Traveling Prose (Wydawnictwo Poznańskie 2014). The Award is given to the best original or translated book from Central Europe published in Poland in the previous year. Among other nominated authors are Elfride Jelinek, Victor Pelevin, Olga Tokarczuk and Serhij Zhadan. The winner receives a check for $50,000.
